The Founding
1991. Reading, PA. Raser was born.
Founded by Gary Raser, Raser Industries thrived by being the leader in steel solutions. With Gary's mechanical background and ingenuity, Raser Industries was the "go to" fabricator when someone had an idea that needed to come to fruition. Multiple design build opportunities enabled Raser Industries to grow in both size and equipment. Gary always believed in investing back into the company to continue to complete the work others didn't want to do. The more difficult, odd, and dirty the job the better Raser performed. From specialty machine builds to local Reading based renovations the Rasers continued to grow the company into a leading steel provider for the Berks County area.

The Present
By 2018 the Rasers began looking for retirement options. Their desire was to pass on the company to someone that would keep the customer base that built Raser Industries to who they are today. In June of 2018, Louis Costanzo took up the opportunity and purchased Raser Industries from Gary and Lori enabling them to retire. Throughout the next few months transitions took place to create a core team and focused culture. It was the desire to keep current employees, customers, and vendors in place who had confidence in the abilities of Raser Industries. With the smooth acquisition of Raser Industries to new ownership, Raser has begun to strategically plan for a future of aggressive growth.
The Future
Succes is better shared.
In order to meet the growing demands in the construction market, Raser Industries has added support staff to the estimating, project managing, and detailing teams. Building the internal team in turn allowed us to add more shop and field personnel to meet the needs of our current and future customer base. We are pursuing more structural steel and renovation projects, as well as focusing on "odd" steel fabrications and installations – unique project solutions that Raser is famous for. We are also continuing miscellaneous metals fabrications, including stainless steel and aluminum solutions, while still pursuing manufacturing equipment fabrication and installations. Continuing investments into our employees and manufacturing equipment prepares Raser Industries to meet your needs. No matter what the challenge is, we will have a solution!
Raser Industries understands the need for skilled labor in the construction market and the skills gap is getting greater. We are aggressively involved in local technical schools working directly with instructors to help their students gain real life knowledge. At Raser we stress hiring for the attitude and training for the skill. We know that with a good work ethic and positive attitude employees can succeed, and with a little Raser training we can build a team and culture that gets us excited each day to come to work.
